Dear prayer partners,
I’m writing with a heavy heart.
Two pastors, who were members of BSL Cohort 4 & 5 in Mandalay, Myanmar have died in the last day or two as a result of the Delta Variant of Covid-19. Please pray for Myat Kyaw’s widow, Su Myat Mon and Thang Be’s widow, San San May and for their lovely families. Things in Myanmar are dire. There is no oxygen, no available vaccines, and no access to hospitals. Several other leaders we work with are infected as well.

Myat Kyaw Thang Be
In 2 Corinthians 1:8, 9 at one stage, the Apostle Paul describes a time when he despaired of life itself and felt as if he had received the sentence of death. Can you imagine what it was like for him and what you would be thinking if you lived in Myanmar? This prayer raft is an urgent call to prayer.
Undeterred, when faced with possible death, the BSL leaders in Mandalay, decided to launch Cohort 6 online, with four Master Trainers and 12 participants. Incredible! Please pray for them - for their safety and that they will be joyful in these desperate days.

What I have described above could be multiplied in Nepal and African nations we work with.
Let me conclude with the rest of Paul’s words from 2 Corinthians 1:10-11, when faced with the prospect of death:
He has delivered us from such a deadly peril,
And he will deliver us again.
On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us
As you help us by your prayer…
Thank you for helping these dear servants of Christ by your prayers!
Gratefully,
Rowland Forman
PS. Thank you for praying for me. I am feeling well again.
